About Chicer Collegiate

CHIC  [sheek]

Adjective - chicer, chicest

1. attractive and fashionable, stylish

noun

2. style and elegance, especially in dress

Chicer Collegiate was created by Morehouse graduate Anthony L. Moultry II, class of '97. The imagery in the HBCU yearbooks of his family from the 1950s and '60s was his inspiration.

Male students donned slacks, button-up shirts and ties daily. Female students strode in long skirts, scarves and heels daily. This era of subtle elegance and style influences the Chicer Collegiate aesthetic.

Morehouse College granted the first collegiate apparel license, followed by Clark Atlanta University and Spelman College.

Our goal is to offer sophisticated apparel and unique accessories for the HBCU and other fine institutions. In addition, we aspire to one day include your school or alma mater so that you too can rep your chic!

Chicer Collegiate has expanded and is now officially licensed with the following institutions -
