The maroon shawl collar cardigan is a part of our Heritage Collection for Morehouse College and embodies an original Chicer Collegiate design approved by the school.
The logo includes the official Morehouse "M" overlayed with an image of Mercury's winged foot and features the college's founding year, 1867.
The Roman God Mercury's winged foot is used to symbolize the immortal name of Morehouse, remembered and celebrated through all time, perpetual and constant! Imperishable. Everlasting.
The original chenille patch "M" logo is hand sewn on the upper left chest and is meant to settle over the heart when worn.
